Who we are
Fownd is a design and development studio based in Cumming, GA. These terms cover work we carry out for you. A signed proposal or written agreement takes precedence over anything on this page.
Scope and estimates
Prices shown on this site are starting points, not quotes. We give you a fixed price in writing before any work begins, based on an agreed scope. If you ask for something outside that scope, we will tell you what it costs before we do it — never after.
Payment
Projects are normally invoiced in two parts: a deposit to book the work, and the balance on completion. Invoices are due within 14 days. Ongoing plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days notice.
Ownership
When your final invoice is paid, you own the work: the code, the content, the domain and the accounts. We hand over repositories and credentials in your name. We keep the right to describe the work and show it as an example unless you ask us not to.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that any content, images or trademarks you give us are yours to use. You are responsible for the accuracy of business information such as prices, hours and claims made on the site.
Third-party services
Projects often rely on services we do not control — hosting, domain registrars, payment processors, Google. We will recommend and configure them, but we are not responsible for their outages, pricing changes or policy decisions.
Ending an engagement
Either of us can stop a project in writing. You pay for the work completed to that point, and we hand over what exists. There are no contracts locking you in and no exit fees.
Liability
We do our work carefully, but we cannot guarantee business outcomes such as search rankings, traffic or revenue. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question.
